The set has two hard squares and two soft squares. They can be interlinked. The soft ones have suction caps on the back so they can be stuck to the wall or a tiled floor.
For example you may have a dog that wont stand still to be washed, stick a mat to the wall with some kind of tasty treat and they can lick that while you wash them.
